A Photo a Week Challenge: Spring
It’s not spring yet, not matter what the calendar says. I understand all about the tilt of the earth and angles of the sun, but it’s cold out there. Cold, blowy, and the snow is still planning to melt. Any day now. So here’s spring. Last year and seasons before.

I heard a robin outside the other day. That’s Spring around here.

I’m hoping we get that soon too. We are back to icy sleet. Again. For at least four or five more days, but presumably, after that …

My daffodils bloomed during the warm February we had, and didn’t quite enjoy the seesaw temps we’ve had this month. I’m still waiting on the tulips…. though they generally don’t come up until April, It just seems like they should’ve already come up already because they’re usually right on the heels of the daffs…

We just wait. Spring is playing tag with us. But it isn’t below breezing at least. That’s something.

Lovely lovely. Two days after I posted the challenge, we had snow. Spring in Utah is definitely schizophrenic, and we’re never sure which voices the weather is listening to. Thanks for joining the challenge!

It’s been very cold and nasty here too.

Here down under we are going into autumn with a bang. Lousy wet weather and the leaves are changing fast. Lovely bright, uplifting photos

I try to use bright pictures because it’s very gray and wet up here, too. Icky weather.

Daffodils in bloom are a sure sign of spring. Ours generally come out Midwinter 😦 Fortunately we don’t get much frost and definitely no snow! Were in Autumn here now and the stupid Daffs are poking their heeads out???
love.
