    The first is good with the light contrasts, otherwise generally buildings are difficult subjects for something special in black and white I find.

      It took me a long time to start to get buildings right. Not one of those things I did easily or automatically. I’m getting better. High contrast — or very good texture — helps enormously. For that matter, a hint of rain to make the stones and bricks shiny doesn’t hurt either!
