AND THEN THERE WERE ROSES

Just when I had lost hope, I peered out the door and there were roses! Pink ones. When I got closer, also a few red ones. The lilies haven’t bloomed yet, but they are full of buds. Maybe tomorrow? We’ve been promised a whole week of sunshine. A whole week! Imagine that.

  1. Happy that you got your roses at last! ๐Ÿ™‚

Not that i want to brag or anything but here – in the middle of our Winter- i currently have flowering or in bud: a rose, geraniums, christmas cactus, gazania, jonquils, daffodils, bougainvillea, lavendar, violets and pansies, orange trumpet vines, dahlia trees, snapdragons, native Geraldton Wax Flowers, dianthus, cyclamen, poinsettia and petunia. Even my orchid is sprouting new shoots, but we keep him indoors!

There are worse places to live, i guess ๐Ÿ™‚

    love.
