    1. They really are. Tall and elegant and the colors, from the very dark orange to almost yellow are glorious. They originally came from India, but have spread out all over new England and are now truly a wild flower. We gathered them up from the road and the woods and planted them in our garden. More than half our flowers are basically wild. Probably that’s why they do so well, even with our awful weather and hard, stony ground.
