A Photo a Week Challenge: Mountain
The city is Phoenix … but the mountain range that surrounds Phoenix has the same name, the Phoenix Mountains. We spend a lot of time in those mountain in 2016.
And in Maine, more mountains.

And then, there’s Vermont.
And Coooperstown.

We got some mountains here called the Rockies. They look good, but are hard to climb.

Actually, that’s quite a nice combination – mountains and the ocean.

Leslie, I’m still quietly humming songs from our 4th of July concert.

Ahhhh … agreed. Love those Appalachians too though. Especially in the Fall.

In the 1960s, I spent a couple of weeks in the Smokies. It was great. One of those “best ever” vacations.

We only have “hills” in Cornwall. But I do like a good mountain.

Beautiful pictures… I live where our ‘mountain’ can be climbed in three minutes, even by me… I miss hills….

Never take a mountain for granted. They are always the background final, but change their appearance according to weather and light.

I love mountains. We have some west of here, but the big ones are north, in Vermont and Maine and New Hampshire … or south in the Appalacians. Or west where the really BIG mountains are. We’ve just got hills and valleys. Whenever we take vacations, we always go to the mountains.
