    1. I think it was at some point a place to launch boats. I’m pretty sure it was never swimming water, but I could be wrong. The canal has been around since the mid 1800s, so maybe it was also a swimming spot.

    1. They are fun to do. Every camera has a different of of “art” filters. This one is on all the Olympuses, but it may be on other cameras, too. Lots of fun anyplace where there’s a lot of color and complicated shapes.
