SUMMER FLOWERS, SOME ARE NOT

Line drawing, summer bouquet

July was a tough financial month, but now that we’ve rolled in August, Garry felt I needed a new summer bouquet. Or, as Gracey Burns used to say, “Summer flowers, some are not.” Just another piece for Cee’s Flower of the Day.

Line drawing–you did that with the camera? I found the artist setting you were telling me about a few posts ago. Mine is a bit different than yours, but at least I found it. Thanks, Marilyn!

None of our Nasturtiums came up this year. I love those things. We don’t know why?? But Rose’s garden still looks wonderful.

We lost a lot of summer flowers during the long, cold spring, but what did come up was intense. I guess it balanced out.

Thank you πŸ™‚ They were a very popular couple of comedians in the 1940s and 1950s, first on radio, then on TV. Gracie died very young, but she was a funny lady.
