What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?

Black and red. Usually dark red. I also like orange, turquoise, and hot pink. I don’t like pastels or other pale colors. I prefer strong colors.

I look terrible in beige and gray, so I don’t wear them. They make me look beige or gray.

What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)

I love terriers … but all dogs are fine with me. I don’t like them so tiny they are easily broken or so big that they run me down. Most dogs fit in the middle area anyhow. Now, though, I have only a medium-sized dog door, so nothing bigger than 16-inches at the shoulder!

List at least five favorite flowers or plants.

Roses. Daylilies. Columbine. Daffodil. Astilbe. Which pretty much sums up my garden.

What inspired you this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

My doctor suggested I try Activa and see if it wouldn’t improve my gut. Damn, but it actually has worked. I feel better! Imagine that!

    1. I never expected it to work. I’m told Greek yogurt works too, but I don’t like Greek yogurt. But the Activa or whatever they call it in your neck of the woods, tastes very good and I’m amazed at what a difference it has made. As I told the doctor, I haven’t got anything to lose at this point.

    1. Yup. They are what they say they are. Most yogurt on the market is “dessert,” which is not-active so it doesn’t do anything but feed you more calcium. But damn if this stuff didn’t work and I gotta tell ya, I’ve been a mess for years.

  1. I stock the yogurt on occasion, and the Activia jingle goes through my head every time I see it. I didn’t even realize it was still around, the ads I remember have to be at least 20 years old.

    1. It’s an active culture. I’m not a big yogurt fan, but I don’t hate it either and me and my gut had nowhere to go but up. It has made a surprisingly big difference. The cups are small which, as my doctor pointed out, made it more likely they would get eaten. He is a strong believer in making it simple enough for even we idiots to manage. But it has really helped, no kidding, and nothing else has, so this is a definite win without taking more pills!

  2. Favorite Color Clothing: BLACK.
Favorite type Dog: Terriers. But I love ’em all ‘cept those tiny, tiny toy dogs. Sorry, tiny dogs.
    Favorite flowers: Roses, Lillies, Maryjane.
Recent Inspiration: Cleaning out my parents’ old house gave me incentive to clean out my office. I’m halfway there. Yay!!

  3. Great News about the Activa working! I presume it’s the same stuff we have in supermarkets here? Have tried it and quite like the taste, but generally my gut seems good up ’til now so have it more for taste than health reasons. 🙂

    1. Well, this kind of thing has always been recommended. I never tried an active culture before and it’s a completely different thing than the usual yogurt which just tastes good, but that’s it. That is also tastes good is a nice touch.
