  1. The scariest of all are the round ones like the yellow one — they propagate by producing little versions of themselves which then blow around the countryside till they come to a block of some sort. You don’t want to be wearing sandals around them — or to sit on them! Love the saguaros!

  2. No wild cactus in Switzerland, only cultivated versions. Have a schlumbergia like yours. It has been growing outside during summer, lots of new leaves, so am hoping for flower for Christmas.
