Judy Dykstra-Brown at “Lifelessons – a blog by Judy Dykstra-Brown” roped me into this, but I have to admit, it was a good idea. I’m really enjoying this. If anyone wants to take this one up, please let me know. The rules are super simple, but the concept is interesting.
“Seven days. Seven black and white photos of your life.
No people. No explanation. Challenge someone new each day.”
If you might be interested in being challenged, let me know. If you like black & white photography, this might be a good one for you.

The bridges and rivers here have truly become part of my life. I never knew that a place could be so much of me.

Marilyn, you didn’t think of me? Or are you just hesitant to “rope” someone into this? I like the idea. And if you don’t formally invite me, I just might crash the party! Besides, I feel like I need a diversion now.

I’m always hesitant to ask people. I’ve had my head nearly ripped off for merely suggesting to someone that he might want to play along, so I am very wary of it. I would LOVE to have you join!

I know. Me, too! I was only joking, not about joining in but about you asking me. I will start today. Thanks.

That’s great. I really did get bitten more than once simply for asking. As if I was insulting them. I really don’t get that attitude. I get asked to do a lot of things I don’t want to do, but it isn’t all that hard to be polite. It’s not an insult and no one needs to be made to feel bad about simply ASKING. But there are some really mean people online. Nasty.

Yes, but for some reason, people who are my followers I expect to at least be polite. Just civil, is all. Why not? We are all friends here, aren’t we?

Definitely. Why follow someone just to be nasty?Actually, why be nasty at all?

I swear half the problems of our world would vanish if everyone was at least CIVIL.

That works well for b&w. The stone is pronounced, the water is dark and mysterious and the foliage is gone.

Hi, Marilyn. I’m interested in being challenged. I am really trying to refine my b&w style, so would love to try this!

Please do! I love when everyone tries out a challenge. You can just add my pingback to my site which will keep the chain going and also let me know when you’ve posted a picture so I can go look at it. I’m finding this much more fun than usual because I’m looking not just for any old black & white pictures, but pictures that in some way are also “me”. Welcome !!!

Thanks for the speedy reply! I will do a pingback.
I will have a go – I also like the idea of taking something that represents me and my life. My blog is called EveryDay Delights, so this fits perfectly for that too!

Thank you. It is one of my favorite black & white shots of nature. Usually, I prefer nature in color. but this one worked.
