ALMOST HALLOWEEN – WORLD SHARING

Share Your World – October 23, 2017

Was school easy or difficult for you? How so?

Mostly school was easy — except for mathematics and physics, at which I was hopeless.

List some of your favorite types of animals.

Um … dogs?

I also love horse, cats, ferrets, parrots … and anything wild and furry. That includes Duke the Dogge who is too wild to be a dog, but too tame to be a wild thing.

What is your favorite large city you have been to? What is the one thing you remember most?

Define “large.” Bigger than a breadbox, but smaller than a continent?

I loved Jerusalem, but it wasn’t by my standards a really large city — at least not when I lived there. I understand it has grown considerably, but it will never seem “large” to me.

So, probably New York, though I also love Boston, San Francisco, London, Dublin, and Montreal. Especially Dublin.

What do I remember? Something different for each city. The view and the food of San Francisco. The raucous confusion of London and the almost-in-France of Montreal. Falling snow at Christmas in Boston. And the pubs of Dublin!

And finally … New York. Always home to me.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

The leaves finally hit their  peak. It’s about time!
