Yes, me too. They can be hard to find around here. There’s only one nursery that has them and they run out of them usually in a single weekend. Last year, I was too late. I hope I get a couple this year.

I’m hoping mine from last year will have survived the winter. I won’t know though until I return from Portugal.

I love them. I hate that they die at the end of the season, but they are so beautiful through the summer — and they don’t need direct sun. If you water them daily, they just wonderful. I’ve tired nursing them through the winter, but they don’t survive indoors. At least not in our climates.

I remember my grandmother having them – in ND- and keeping one from year to year… when I was in grade school. she passed away when I was in 4th grade. I have always loved them. I had two grandmothers with green thumbs..the one passed away when I was three… My mother was a surprise package long into her marriage, and my mother was 39 when I was born, also an only child also
