Daily Post WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: PROLIFIC
This has not been a prolific April. It’s just plain cold. It’s the 18th today and it is not supposed to be this cold. Wet? Maybe. It rains a lot in the spring in these parts. But we shouldn’t have needed another oil delivery this morning. We got one anyway, and probably for the first time in MANY years, we are actually behind in our payments for oil.
We pay all year round to avoid catastrophic single payments, but this year has not been a normal year.
Below, a few very different looks for “prolific.”

You are prolific in photos as well. Was it hard to pick just one?

It’s even harder because I can’t always find the photo I want. I have not been a diligent organizer and now there are SO many picture, I despair of ever getting it right.

You are preaching to the choir, sister. I’ve had to make a conscious effort to leave the camera when going on activities—or never spend any time actually enjoying them. And then, I got an iPhone. I’m never without a camera now! Ask me about my millions of random life shots. Go ahead, ask. If you dare!

I hope yours are better organized than mine! I’ve got SOOOO many pictures and I can’t find even half of them. More like not even a quarter.

I lost entire swaths of my son’s digital childhood, if that’s any indication. Good thing he doesn’t care!

I lost a decade of pictures to a virus and they weren’t backed up. I hear you!

All depicted the word well 🙂 I liked the logs too though. 🙂

It’s a buzz mill, down the road from the grocery store. It’s where they cut up the big trees into smaller trees, then send them on to the lumber yards. It’s a neat place to take pictures.

That’s the kind of photography I used to take.

This is a relatively small region, so there are a limited number of places for me to shoot. That’s a nice one, though, because you see a lot of birds, too. They like the bugs in the logs.

It was here when we moved in, but it was very small. Somehow, it has decided to thrive. At least something has thrived!

The spring flowers were very nice. I do wonder if it will ever come.

I look at the pictures, the date I took them, and I murmur “There is hope yet.” There is. Hope. Yet.

You can’t see it in that photo, but some of those trees were absolutely HUGE.

I LOVE the canal shot. It’s exquisite in a leafy way.
The woodpile looks like the Guns of Navarrone.
