I love the plane Garry photographed. Your entry this week Marilyn is outstanding. 😀

Thanks Cee. It reminds me of how much I loved flying in little planes and best of all, gliding!

I think the plane one is particularly unique.

I really so much wanted to go flying in it. One of the coolest things I ever did was in England, I went gliding. It’s done differently in various locations, but there, they attach this tiny, plane — without any engine — to a GIANT RUBBER BAND and shoot it into the sky. First time, the band broke and I was very lucky I had a great pilot who got me down alive. But me being ME, i did it AGAIN. All you hear in one of those silent plants is the whistling of the wind. Which is surprisingly LOUD. I hear that when you drop by parachute, it’s quieter. Garry did that and he liked it. I think I’d have liked it … but I’d never have gotten out of the plane. The step out into nothing would have killed me first.

I never thought for a minute I could actually get hurt. Ah youth, eh?

That’s probably why you didn’t get hurt, you weren’t all tensed up.

Also, I had a great pilot.

And it flies. I watched it up up up in the air and wanted so much to be on it!

I have been on one of those single engines four seaters. We flew over the thousand Islands.

Good stairways, we just have to be careful we don’t fall down

I won’t go down my deck steps. I also use my stair lift going downstairs. I’m really afraid of falling!
