I thought the Columbine was finished for the season, but they seem to have come back again. Everything seems to be going around twice. Crazy weather, crazy garden. Crazy world!
So today, let’s take another look at the Columbine again. Because I love the color.

The columbine in my yard are a deeper red. I just checked on-line images and was surprised how many different colors there are. I learned something today.

I’ve seen some in yellow and even a mix of two colors. Mine are always (only) deep violet. Maybe it has to do with the type of soil in which they grow?

Usually, these are a one-round flower but this year, they came back. Nice!
