Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – June 29, 2018
Sometimes, there’s way and it takes you home. Everywhere on the property is full of flowers now.
Baby trees — more than a dozen sassafras saplings and several Catalpa growing like crazy. I have trouble believing how quickly these trees grow from nothing to a big, sturdy sapling several feet taller than me.
We are going to have to saw them down in the fall. If we don’t, the driveway won’t be a way to drive anymore.

The flowers are quite insane with energy. Right now, it’s a bit too hot for comfort, but that will change by next week. We do get very hot spells, but they rarely lost more than a week. After which come the thunderstorms to cool the air. But it sure is hot right now. Close to 100 with humidity to match!

Oh, my goodness, the flowers are wonderful! At this time of year, they should be better than GPS as a guide to your house!

They are wonderful. I wish they would last all summer, but by August, only the roses will be in bloom. We have an early summer garden and a late summer bunch of weeds. But by September, there are the leaves. Which is the best of all.

I can see the leaves being better than the weeds — but I like the flowers best as they are in these photos!

I love the flowers this time in the summer. I wish they would last another month, but they will die off I a couple of weeks. So I try to remember how beautiful they are and enjoy whatever is when it IS. Like the leaves.
