QUIETYLY, DOGS AT HOME – Marilyn Armstrong

Quietly At Home

Just because.

My dogs are looking good. All freshly groomed and smelling rather better than they normally do. With all the mud and gunk outside, it won’t last, but I grabbed a few shots while I could.

I could not send the smell.

If Mr. Gibbs were a flower, I could link him up. But he is a dog. There’s no special dog link for him, but he was looking good today, so I thought I might show him off.

Mr. Gibbs, looking good
Aww. She’s so sweet

And then, of course, there’s the Duke …

  1. AWWW! ❤ Such beautiful doggies. I can IMAGINE the smell, Ms. Huny smells like that when I can catch her and pop her into the sink for a bath. She doesn't enjoy it, but the smell, Ah the smell! I think she thinks it stinks though. And that her natural scent is best. We all do that I guess.. 😉

    1. I think the worse they smell, the more they like it. They definitely have a different “taste” in scents 🙂 We have popped them all outside in the yard for a day off in here. We needed a bit of dog-free time.

  2. I’ve never met anybody who owned dogs and I didn’t like them….. 🙂
Your babies are beautiful. I long for the day I can have a dog once more. My lifestyle with my being ‘all over the place(s)’ doesn’t really allow dog-having… And THEN, when I will be settled down somewhere for good, I must first find a flat/appartment (whatever you call it) which allows dog owning!!! I used to dream to be the first ‘seing human’ for blind dogs but the longer I wait the more I shall probably be a case for getting a guide-dog for blinds! Still, that might get me/us in an appartment which wouldn’t normally allow me to have a pet…. Good thinking Kiki 🙂
