WILDFLOWERS – DAY TEN
Wild and bright pink and living along the fencing of the farm down the road. It’s there for the cows to enjoy and I’m sure they do.
About as pink as you can get, too!

Here at the farmstead, we have bright pink, light pink and white. They bloom profusely from mid-June through early September and oh, what a lovely fragrance. All of our pollinators seem to enjoy them as much as we do. 🙂

My neighbour used to have them and they seemed to like a sunny patch. I’ve been looking for some to plant here. Maybe next summer I’ll get started on it.

These are completely wild. The “garden variety” are smaller. They come in a lot of colors and they are not climbers but are obviously related to each other.

Phlox. We have lots of it here in Maine. Butterflies, bees and hummingbirds love it too!
