WATERLILIES ON THE RIVER – Marilyn Armstrong

We may not have had much in the way of an autumn, but the water lilies have been blooming like crazy. Everywhere. All different kinds of lilies.

Water lilies along the Blackstone
Wide lily pads
In the bend of the river
At the pond in Whitinsville
Autumn lily pads
Flowering lily pads
Flowers in the water.

    1. The water lilies reach the full size and flowering in the fall and it has been such a warm summer, there are a lot more lilies than usual, But now, of course, suddenly it’s cold. We went from hot summer to December overnight. Ah, climate change.

Hey, I heard today we might not be able to grow enough barley for beer! That’ll get a few people on the climate change train!

  1. The wide lily pads are similar to the ones found in the Amazon. I love the way they just float like they are resting in mid air.
