Oddball Challenge: November 1, 2018
I’m never sure if the picture is artsy or oddball. Maybe they are basically the same? I need to think about that some more!

Love the pix of kitchen window and bird feeder! We set our suet box out last week, had a few birds that day–then a huge round gray squirrel found it and that was the end of that… Will try again in a week or two. First time we ever had a squirrel hold up.

It’s a 4-lb. feeder and I think the chickadees ate three of them today. That’s gonna be an awful lot of bird seed.
I’ve never seen a squirrel on or even near our deck, so I’m hoping they don’t get inspired. There are squirrels, but because we have bobcats and fisher cats and coyotes, they stay in the trees where they only have to worry about the eagles and hawks. And owls.

Gotta love a bird feeder! They invite timeless joy as a vast array of birds drop by to say hi.

Probably wind up with fat squirrels!

lol, this is true. I gave up on bird feeders (I had the liquid kind) and it drew too many wasps and bees which if I’m stung creates a serious problem. We have a half dozen racoons and that encourages them to come try too. grrr
