One small window, one huge barn. There’s one crooked old window in the middle of the barn wall. Not big enough or clean enough to bring much light into the barn. But it’s there.

SERENDIPITY - SEEKING INTELLIGENT LIFE ON EARTH 
A lot of houses with bathrooms along the perimeter have a window, which I always found a bit odd. Why would you put a window in a bathroom when it’s the one place people almost always expect privacy? The house I grew up in had the bathroom set up to where it would have been impossible to have a shower because the window was directly over one end of the bathtub! And the bathroom was a thruway room with two doors. It was a very oddly designed place…

It looks like there might be something covering up the window from the inside. Maybe it’s there to keep out the birds from entering from the broken pain?

No idea. It was just an old barn with a weird window. the window was also really crooked.

We have a lot of very old barns. People remodel or rebuild houses, but they keep patching up their barns until they actually FALL down. This one was halfway into falling down.

I agree with Lois, it is gorgeous and it has such character and charm. It’s amazing to find something special. Equally amazing to enjoy a picture of something other’s mind consider mundane! 🙂

I’m sure at some point it was intended to brighten the barn, but it’s a HUGE barn and a very small window. That must be one really dark barn,

And so crooked! It looks straighter in the picture because I squared it off, but it’s really slanted.
