Day Three – March Spiky Squares!
More Blooming Cactus – FOTD – o3/04/2019
Snow falling tonight and I’m hoping we won’t get as much as promised. I guess I’ll know in the morning. Meanwhile, it’s snowing pretty heavily out there.
We might get up to a foot, but I’m hoping for less. Please.
My cactus is blooming more than I’ve ever seen it bloom before. I have to assume that after this, it’s going to want to sleep for a while!
This last one isn’t square, but I wanted to show you the whole plant. I think it actually looks better “in person.”
Happy spiky, jagged, pointy, bristly, serrated, prickly, spiny, and barbed’ squares!

We had a Christmas and an Easter flowering cactus back in the UK, so there was usually one of them in flower. 🙂 🙂

We had a great winter for a month and a half. Then February rolled in and we’ve been in the deep freeze for a month.
Yeah, can’t wait to look at some flowers!

We almost escaped unharmed, but 18 inches fell last night, so … late, but not never. At least it will be gone probably by early April. We hope.

It suddenly crossed my mind that it really IS both of them and I’m not stretching my limits. And … I have more. Also, I have an orchid coming in, but it will be a couple of more weeks till I see buds and another few before full flowers. And with 18 inches of snow on the ground, I think we have some very buried crocus out there.
