That’s what it looked like BEFORE winter began. Now it looks like post winter. All grimy and grungy. But since we’re expecting more precip of some kind (snow? sleet? rain?) we might as well wait.
Thanks. Right now, nothing is shiny. It’s the end of winter. Everything is just slightly muddy and crusty with stuff from the roads and the ice and snow.
At the moment, it looks like cars always look as winter ends: covered with the road crud. It needs a really thorough bath which I hope we will get for it during the next few weeks, assuming we aren’t going to get more snow. We might GET more snow! There’s a huge storm in the midwest that’s heading this way. 50-50 whether or not we’ll get hit by it.
The shiny sand is my favorite here 🙂

It was beautiful to see, too. It reminded me of the line in Homer of “pink-faced dawn” …

I think everyone like shiny things. That Jeep is very shiny… looks like the same shade of red as my car, which after this winter is very unshiny…

I think it was part of an antique car show. They were all absolutely gorgeous!

Something rather cheerful about these photos.

Shininess IS cheerful. I think that’s why we like shiny cars, shiny shoes, shiny waters, bright sunlight. It makes us feel good.

We are getting there. We’ll be complaining about the heat and humidity soon.

All the pics are nice, especially the last one. Cue up “Love Letters In The Sand”, “True Love” and “Canadian Sunset”. Roll EVERYTHING!
