WHO AM I? – Marilyn Armstrong

I am not who you think I am. I am not who my husband thinks I am. In fact, I am a superhero. Huge superhero. I know this, because …

When I look in the mirror, this is what I really see!

It’s good to be a superhero.

It’s good to want to be a superhero. It’s good to wear a purple cape with your red tights. Just call me:

MAGNETO.
THE MAGNIFICENT!

  1. Super cool image, Marilyn. It’s how we see ourselves that really matters, so wear purple cape with pride! Weirdly, I do wear a purple cloak – but it’s a medieval one. So I’m part-way there… ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Back when I thought I could sew, I made myself a black wool cape with a scarlet silk lining. It was part of a costume for “Fall of Sauron Day,” but I liked it so much, I wore it any time it was warm enough (not a super heavy cloak).

      1. That sounds lovely, Marilyn. Likewise, I got my cloak at a medieval fayre at Ludlow Castle almost on a whim because I fell in love with it and it was purple (the only colour I ever wear). It took me a while to pluck up the courage to wear it anywhere other than subsequent medieval fayres, but I wore it recently during some freezing weather because it’s nice and warm. So I’m getting there. I shouldn’t worry really, I should just wear it. ๐Ÿ™‚
