MODERN CAPITALISM AND CORPORATE CORRUPTION IN ONE MEME – Marilyn Armstrong

I don’t usually publish stuff I find on Facebook, but there’s an exception to every rule. This made me laugh and I really need a laugh. It didn’t get to me until I got to Canadian Capitalism. Then, I lost it.

WARNING: This is a meme, not reality. Don’t go there. Just don’t.

  5. That seems pretty accurate – with two minor exceptions!

The New Zealand economy isn’t based upon cows – it is based upon sheep, both of whom look irresistibly cute!! 🙂

The Australian economy was always known for riding on the sheep’s back, as were a few sheep farmers! About 20 years ago we retired the sheep, who now live in largely undisturbed luxury, and chose instead to dig up our near infinite supply of Iron Ore, Aluminium ore, Coal, Gold, Diamonds, Silver, Copper, Nickel, Tin, Rare Earth metals and Lithium, not forgetting that the other 99.999999% of the continent is pure sand, of which Silica is the largest component, which of course you need to make silicon chips. And still our politicians have managed to screw it up and have made many foreigners very, very rich while simultaneously ensuring few locals can afford to buy a house, and all while doubling our National Debt in the last 6 years!
