Wildflower Garden at River Bend – 08/05/19

River Bend is all about “wild.” So, not surprisingly, the gardens are entirely made up of wildflowers. I took a few pictures of them. The gardens are peaceful and the bees are always busy within.

Author: Garry Armstrong

As a reporter for Channel 7 in Boston for 31 years, I was witness to most of the major events affecting the region. I met a lot of people ... politicians, actors, moguls, criminals and many regular folks caught up in extraordinary situations. Sometimes, I write about the people I've met and places I've been. Sometimes, I write about life, my family, my dogs and me. Or what might otherwise be called Life.

    1. Lois, thank you. We had a gorgeous day to shoot. We even had people showing up before we left to get shots of them — walking, fishing, sun bathing and playing with their furry children. Perfect. Yes, a little bit of heaven.

    1. Leslie, thank you. So many pic choices. I love framing the flowers in perspective to other stuff. The only thing missing was a corpse.

            1. Leslie, yes. We’re re-binging “Midsomer Murder Mysteries” and loving EVERY murder. I really LOVE it when the corpse turns up in a vat of chocolate or wine. “No Wine Before It’s Time – remember that slogan?
The Midsomer murderers have style and elan. Old School killers.

      1. Ruth, I wonder how many folks are wondering who Lady Chatterly is — and does she have a Facebook page?

    1. Slmret, thanks. As noted, we had a friend who spend untold hours working in his garden. He was a retired news anchor who used his creative energy and love nurturing his garden which was always VERY impressive.

    1. Thanks, Cee. Scenes just waiting to be photograped. I wanted to drop down completely for a certain perspective, shooting through the flowers. I got down as far my knees and decided not to go any further.
