JAPANESE MAPLES TREES – Marilyn Armstrong

Japanese Maples – 09.04.19

On a sunny day in August, the Japanese Maple we raised from babyhood has come into its own.

What a beautiful tree it has become! It is tall and bright green all summer, but turns scarlet in autumn and stays scarlet when all other trees have lost their leaves.

  1. I do love them, especially the red ones. But I only had ‘baby trees’ in large pots and they all died eventually.

  4. It is a lovely tree. I only have a little baby Japanese Maple, about three years old but mine has red leaves all year round. Must be a different variety.
