Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Signs
We have a new sign. Well, not new. It’s almost 20 years old, but it has been down for a couple of years after being knocked over by a snowplow. Owen propped it back up this year, so we have our new (old) sign back again.
I took a few pictures.

How did you come by the name Kachingarosa ?

Ah. Garry is a serious Western movie fan. He also had the nickname (at work) of “kaching” which is the sound a cash register used to make. A “kaching” is a fee for doing some kind of work where you are seen on camera. Then there was the Ponderosa.
Kachingerosa is Garry’s nickname and the second half of Ponderosa.

Maybe we should have a small speaker that plays the “Kachingerosa” theme song.

Thanks, Cee. I was taking “locater pics” for a piece I wrote a little later. Locater pics are a habit from my working days.
