  1. hope u don’t have that flu i had. took over a week to get over it. Rose is still coughing. seems chronic. then it took me another week to recover from the meds. i feel like was addicted or something? now i’m tired all the time. haven’t recovered my strength. on it goes …

  2. Do take care Marilyn, we need you back in good condition.
    Leslie xoxo

  3. Not fun. Can’t like. Feel better soon.

    • It’s a virus and it’s going around and not just here. The worst problem is that it is incredibly contagious and there are states closing down schools until everyone feels better. And because it’s a virus, there’s nothing you can do about it. I knew I was coming down with it (again!!!) yesterday and it hit me in the middle of the night. Which was kind of “it” for sleep.

  4. Everybody’s in bad health! First Pat, then you – – please sleep a lot and get well soon. Thinking of you. And Garry, don’t beat yourself up. Please.

    • It’s that time of year. Right around the holidays, everyone gets something. And because we are “out and about” more, we bring our nascent germs with us when we don’t even KNOW we are contagious. I swear every time I go to the supermarket, within a couple of days, I’ve got something. The problem is, sometimes, you really have to do something. Like … go OUT.

      • I know. I agree. Fully…. here in France many children go to school, they sneeze and cough and although the teacher tells them to put an arm in front of their mouth, they have never learned to do that (it’s not in their genes) and the whole class is knocked out in no time. I had a teacher living with us for a year and even SHE was sick half of the time….

  5. Sorry, Marilyn. Get some rest, stay hydrated, and feel better soon.

    • It’s the famed norovirus. It is very contagious, icky, yucky and Garry and I keep transferring it back and forth. I told him today — for at least a week, we have to make our own food, I’m pretty sure that’s how we are moving it back and forth.

  6. Sending you beautiful thoughts on which to float……and get well!

  7. Marilyn, SORRY. MOST of this — MY fault. You went out last night when you should not have. You did it to support me, get me to my speaking contest venue and offer support during the event. SORRY!

  8. Get well soon, although easier said than done. Have missed you last week.

    • We’ve been swapping a virus back & forth since the summer — and we have to find a way to get rid of it. I thought you weren’t posting since I didn’t get anything from your site. I’d better check to see if we are still connected. How are you two managing?

      • i was back posting today, but probably just for this week. I will have to see how next week develops

        • I have stuff posted for the next couple of days, but I’m pretty worn out. We’ve been passing this back and forth between us for months. Today I said we should make our own food because I think that’s how we are transferring it. So it’s going to be sandwiches and soup and a lot of sleep for the next few days and hopefully we’ll both be better.

  9. Aw. 😦 You were doing really well there too. Get well soon!

    • It’s a virus and it’s contagious. I think if we both make our own food, maybe that will stop it. It’s REALLY going around. They are closing schools until everyone stops being sick! I think this may be a first.
