Does everyone feel as if they fell into the rabbit hole and that last mushroom made them huge — or tiny. My plastic flamingo is running around the garden laughing at me. I need to drink something that will make me … real.
Because I too am unhinged!

One of my dogs would make a better president. But for some reason, I really like Yang. I think he is very smart and I suspect he is clever, too. I also think he’s unlikely to get nominated and I’ll vote for anyone who isn’t Trump, but wouldn’t it be nice to get someone we actually LIKE? Now there’s a unique concept!

“The Laughing Flamingo”. Sounds like something Raymond Chandler might’ve written. A case for Phillip Marlowe. The Flamingo is an erstwhile torch singer who overheard a discussion between rhe Mob planning a big hit on the D.A.’s office. Marlowe must sort through his past and once torrid affair with ‘Flamingo’ that ended on a sour note. A lot of scotch absorbed as Marlowe recalls the halcyon days with the girl who made him dream of a white picket home and 3 urchins in suburbia.
Billie Holiday performs the title tune and all the bittersweet songs that run through the movie.
There must be a place for Mary Astor in this new film noir –instant classic.
