Fandango’s February Expressions
Always look on the bright side of life!
I know I’m jumping the gun here, but this is one of those days when it is particularly difficult to look at the bright side of life — and yet I found the perfect piece of music to celebrate this charming concept.

The other song I always liked was “’cause it’s bugger all down here on earth”.., at least I think that’s one of the lyrics??

This was my favorite, but there are others. We have all the movies on DVD too, but since they were running on Netflix, it was easy to just tune them in — and the ones on Netflix are much cleaner versions than the DVDs we’ve got. Doesn’t it seem as if they were predicting our future? Bet they couldn’t make that movie today. The Evangelicals would be in an insane uproar of righteousness.
Garry thinks maybe Mel liked the Monty Python crew. You bet! Did you know that George Harrison financed the first and parts of all their other movies? He thought they were hilarious. And they still are. Possibly even funnier now.

One of the most hilarious endings in cinema history. Better than “Some Like It Hot” which is hilarious. Not a Python fan, sorry. But the “Brian” finale scene reminds me how nutty these lads were. Betcha Groucho and Mel give props to this gang.

Yes, it was. We may need to watch it again. It’s almost a warning against this future.
