NOW THERE ARE TWO
First, there was one orchid flowering. There were several big buds waiting and a couple of days ago, the second flower started to open. I didn’t take any pictures until this morning. By the middle of the day, it was very bright, but the sun was not shining directly through the window. My macro lens was on the camera. I picked it up and here are the results.
There are more photographs for another day. The light was exactly right for this particular piece of photography.

Beautiful! I love orchids.

They flower for a long time. It’s the best part of growing them. An orchid can easily last a month, sometimes longer. So you get flowers that last. I hope I have treated these better and they will come around again.

Yes, they do last a long time – so if you have an orchid plant, keep “feeding” it (an ice cube once every two days) and don’t get rid of it if the blooms fall off and you have just sticks! THE FLOWERS WILL RETURN

These look a lot healthier than the previous ones did — and the earlier ones were potted alone but in a bigger pot with more aggressive plants. I’m hoping these will keep coming around as long as I treat them well.

You were doubly blessed. 🙂 I brought a plant with me that has been blooming unbelievably, and it produced double blooms twice. Nice.

My first one bloomed once then withered. This one is SO far doing better. less water and some fertilizer. But at least I’m getting a nice bloom now.

Lovely flowers. Brightening up the grays.

It’s great to have some color in the house. It gets so gray in the winter. The flowers are a real morale-lifter.

So far, so good. My other ones were doing well until they weren’t.
