  1. It’s going to be 8 C.here today. That’s 46.4 F.- give or take a degree. We are anticipating Spring. BUT it doesn’t come easy around here. Usually we get one last big dump before (or after) the Robins arrive. Spring – as I recall – is even more welcome in rural areas. LIke on the farms where I lived as a kid. Yet, the ice melts. No more hockey for awhile. Except on TV … where it never ends.

    1. These were a bunch of leaves for almost a year until finally, they bloomed. One bloom isn’t too hard to get, but getting more requires a bit more effort than I usually put into plants. I am, however, making the effort. We’ll see how it goes.

        1. They like a cool room and bright light but not full sun and VERY LITTLE WATER. Even less than I give my cactus — and that’s not much water. A lot of people suggest not watering them at all but dropping a few ice cubes in the pot every other week.
