A PHOTO A WEEK: GLASS – Marilyn Armstrong

A Photo a Week Challenge: Glass

So many glasses in so many items it’s hard to make a choice. So I picked a little of each glassy thing I could find.

The lenses on cameras are often referred to as “glass” as in the sentence “You can always replace a camera, but the glass can be big money.” That’s why if you buy an interchangeable lens camera, you wind up married to it. You can easily replace the camera, but the lenses are expensive and really good lenses are very expensive, often more money than the camera.

Glass – the lens
A glass teapot
A very little gold bottle
My new sunglasses but they aren’t so new anymore
And finally, the glass-fronted building of the Medical School in Worcester
