The Changing Seasons, May 2020
To say that the world is a different place than it was last month and completely different than the month before, AND has almost nothing to do with last spring or even last winter is probably an understatement. I hardly know where to start. Plagues, riots and warm winter without snow which, in one night, turned into summer.
Whatever comes out of this, it’s going to be different. Possibly very different. Or maybe not. Does anyone know? I sure don’t know.
About The Changing Seasons
The Changing Seasons is a monthly challenge where bloggers around the world share what’s been happening in their month.
If you would like to join in, here are the guidelines:
The Changing Seasons Version One (Photographic):
Each month, post 5-20 photos in a gallery that you feel represent your month
Don’t use photos from your archive. Only new shots.
Tag your posts with #MonthlyPhotoChallenge and #TheChangingSeasons so that others can find them.
The Changing Seasons Version Two (Choose your favorite format):
Each month, post a photo, recipe, painting, drawing, video, whatever that you feel says something about your month
Don’t use archived stuff. Only new material! Except for maybe this and last month when a lot of us have gotten out of the house much — or at all.
Tag your posts with #MonthlyPhotoChallenge and #TheChangingSeasons so others can find them.
If you do a ping-back to SuLeslie’s post, she can update all the entries with links.

Yes, but our children and grandchildren? What can they hope for? I will die relatively soon because I’m getting up there in years, but what about my 25-year-old granddaughter? No wonder no one wants to get married. Bringing more kids into this doesn’t sound like a good idea these days.

Your photos are beautiful Marilyn, and Garry still looks dashing in uniform.
I’m running out of words to describe how the chaos around me has seeped into my mind and my heart. And now that it’s winter here, there isn’t even much in the garden to provide solace. Though there are some citrus fruit whispering to me “make marmalade, make marmalade.”

And my 20 pounds of flour is awaiting me. I need the rest of the goodies too. Yeast. Whole wheat flour. Eggs. I am SO glad I put up feeders. What would I do without them?

I think we’re glad too. It is really joyous to see your photos.
Good luck assembling all the goodies.

I feel like I’m living in Chaos. I suppose the pictures reflect that. Nonetheless, the world goes on with no real difference — yet it FEELS different.

Isolated AND busy. It will be very hard to explain this to anyone. It’s true, but it sounds so wrong.

I hope, I trust it will be better. Because past a certain point, it’s bad enough that anything more is just another part of the same awfulness. I never ever imagined a world like this. Never. I still don’t believe it and I’m living in it.
