Garry brought me flowers.
It has been a long time since he has been out long enough to buy anything. The roses smell like heaven in a vase. Such are my flowers for today.

And they smell so good! In the middle of the living room table, they are a wonderful addition and really perk up the room. Flowers are great.

White roses — REALLY white as these are — are surprisingly hard to find. I don’t know if there’s some special meaning to white roses, but these are gorgeous. They were mostly buds when he brought them home, so they are beginning to peak now. I’ll take more pictures today, but maybe if I move the rest of the junk OFF the table, they will look better 🙂

They were a nice boost for me, too. Garry hasn’t been going out and he is still extremely cautious, so it was a particularly nice gift.

I’m not allergic (luckily!) to flowers, but I’m very allergic to trees and autumn weeds. But mostly trees. And, we live in the woods. Oh well.

Usually, roses wilt awfully fast, so by the time I remember to take pictures, it’s too late. This time, I think today will be okay, but by tomorrow they will be kind of old. I love roses, but they are not sturdy.
