A Bird’s Eye View
While I was shooting a least chipmunk, I was also squaring up some birds. Because the birds aren’t afraid of this tiny furry critter. They will share a feeder with her, but not with a squirrel. I think the squirrels are too big, but the little chipmunk hardly counts. So in all the following pictures, that blurry patch is actually a leaf and my camera shoots through it.

Not sure how you did it, but those are the coolest pictures, Marilyn. Loved that see through look. Awesome! Well they are all awesome, but I really like that one.

I don’t know how come my camera can see through leaves. Sometimes it can see through twigs, too. It’s something about the optical design, but since I’m not an engineer, it doesn’t mean much to me. But yes, definitely cool.

So many times, I really LIKE the photo, but it’s too soft, or too blocked by plants of twigs or whatever, but I really LIKE it anyway. Filters help turn it into art.

Thank you for noticing the work Most people seem to think you just drop a filter on and that’s it. Not nearly that easy. I worked on these for about six hours — and I only had a handful of pictures to show for it.

I kind of leave the TV on. It is slow and I often get to a point and start over again. It can take me half a day or more to do fewer than a dozen pictures. That’s why a reuse them. For that much work, I deserve more than one viewing 😀

I was shooting through plants, so it was difficult to get normal clear shots. After the birds, I went out and moved the plants around, but they are huge and heavy, so I couldn’t move them all. Art covers a lot of errors.
