The Smaller Picture – Going Tight

It was early in the morning. I’d gotten up to get something more to drink. I looked out the window and there were squirrels. One per feeder. So, I gave the Duke a treat, picked up my camera and took a bunch of pictures. Then I went back to bed for another few hours. Not all of them squared up well, but quite a few of them did.

    1. My squirrels have gotten so casual about our deck, they just hang out there sometimes all day long. I suppose I should put out water for them, but I don’t want to encourage mosquitoes and we are just 1/4 mile from the river. Not hard to find water. They are too cool, but I think they might be too cool to be squirrels! More like little furry kids that love teasing the dog.

        1. I was either going to get philosophical about it or drive myself crazy. So one day, I stopped worrying and figured everyone has to eat. And they do take turns, usually. Especially in the summer when there is so much to eat.
