Dogs we have had and loved. Now, only the Duke remains, but the memories … sometimes, the house is full of the ghosts of dogs we have owned and loved.
Life can’t be all treats, I guess.
This is one cute dog

Bishop with a very young Bonnie
Gibbs and The Duke
Bishop was the most beautiful Australian Shepherd I’ve ever seen, including at dog shows — and also the gentlest dog in the world
Bonnie and Garry
Pagan – Ch. Goose Creek’s Dancing In The Dark
Divot was a champion and she knew it. She was Garry and my first dog and from that moment on, Garry was more in love with Divot than with me.

Absolutely adore your pictures. They really do give a total picture of your dear pets personality and how much you loved them.

Aw, we never forgot those that are gone. I’ve been dreaming lately – a lot – about my dogs who have crossed that bridge. I think maybe they’re all waiting for me …

I hope so. I really miss them … ALL of them. And there were more. Because Owen and Sandy lived here and they had dogs, too.

Such original names you chose for them Marilyn.

Many of them came with names. We didn’t rename them. The ones we named were Bonnie, Gibbs, and Duke. I think all the others arrived with names.

What sort of terrier was Divot? She has a bit of an Australian Terrier look.

Norwich Terrier. There’s another one that looks much the same who has flop ears. That would be a Norfolk Terrier. They were once a single breed, but were divided back in the 1930s.

That’s Duke at his most relaxed, yet somehow, on guard. He’s a funny guy.
