MY FAVORITE GARDEN BIRDS IN 2020 (WITH 4 MONTHS TO GO)

I don’t have anything raging through my mind, so I thought this might be a good time to show off my favorite bird pictures for 2020. There isn’t a lot of good stuff going on. Most of us haven’t gone anywhere. We haven’t had any parties or gone on vacation or had out-of-town company. We’re in the middle of a pandemic, many of us are out of work and broke. We’re bummed, feeling kind of glum, while hoping it will get better.

Flying House Finches

I refuse to listen to people who want to warn me about upcoming disasters. I’m in the middle of a current disaster and do not need prophecies of disasters to come. Also, it’s a jinx. I won’t listen. I’m going to believe that somehow, it will work out. Not necessarily easily, but we’ll get there. Don’t tell me we won’t. I don’t want to hear it even if it turns out to be true.

Tomorrow, I’ll do critters – squirrels that fly, squirrels that hang around, tiny chipmunks, and of course, raccoons.

  1. Those slide shows were AMAZING! I miss the mourning doves that lived in my old neighborhood. I’ve seen a few here, but the bigger, predator birds usually scare them off quickly. How beautiful a part of the world you live in!

    • Thanks! As soon as I snapped the shot I knew it was a good one. Sometimes you see it and you just say YES! I GOT IT! I had it printed and framed — and that’s the first picture I’ve done that with in years.
