A Photo a Week Challenge: The Road Not Taken
In the winter, in the snow … or through the autumn woods. There is always an untaken path. There is never enough time to walk every path. We are inevitably forced to choose between one and the other. I think we always believe the other road was probably better … but we’ll never know.

All of these spaces withing walking distance of your home? Curious about the large steps going off into the distance. Where is this?

Robert Frost was definitely new England’s poet. Garry interviewed him and we have his portrait in the house, too. He lived to a ripe old age. All his poems are so … New England.

Gorgeous country. Love the poem, too. This is my second try at sending this message because I received a notice that it could not be sent. ?????

I’ve been having a lot of problems with WordPress and getting bumped. I cleared out all my cookies and other electronic rubble yesterday, so hopefully it’s better. But everywhere, servers are very overloaded. SO many people are at home using computers. The servers can’t catch up.

It’s one of my favorites. The woods, the snow, the horses. There is that hush during a snowfall. Not a big blizzard with wind, but a regular snowfall. It’s a very special feeling. When I was a kid, my whole family used to get all dressed up and go walking in the snow at night in the winter. Everyone else stayed by the fire. We left the fire to go out in the snow.
