KINDA PERFECT – AUTUMN LINGERS

While fall lingers let’s enjoy the golden days

Today was near perfection. It rained during the night and when the sun came up, I could look out any window and autumn was still with us. This is the best autumn we’ve had in years. It has been at least four years since we had one of the long, warm, glowing fall seasons. I love the chilly nights and the golden days. A few pictures maybe?

  2. It’s beautiful back there. I told Garry so yesterday when he shared those gorgeous photos of your beautiful trees and the amazing colors they’ve sported. I’m very glad you got an Autumn this year. 2020 has been crap, the least it could do is provide us some visual ‘food’ right?

    • Truly Autumn is the reward we get for surviving the other three seasons. New England doesn’t have a really delightful climate. It look great photographically, but winter is bitter, summer is hot and humid and full of bugs. There IS no spring, so we trust in Autumn — and there are a lot of bad years when there’s too much rain, or we get a hurricane or early snow or it’s too hot. This year was just right, even though we needed rain.

  3. Beautiful. Lucky you.
We are under constant snows the last few days. Seems early. May go away for a bit, but we’re into it now.

    • We’ve gotten some very early snows even as early as September. It ruins autumn and the trees break because they are still full of leaves. And often, after that, there isn’t much snow. Weird weather is not only part of climate change. Some areas have always had weird weather.
