LOST AUTUMN DAYS – GARRY ARMSTRONG

In the process of downloading a camera, Marilyn discovered a whole bunch of pictures she had never before downloaded — and they are all mine. So, lets take a look at early autumn. September, down by the Blackstone at River Bend.

    • If I don’t download pictures the day they are taken, I forget they are on the chip. So these showed up on a chip I was reusing in a different camera and I realized there was a huge bunch of pictures Garry took that I’d never really looked at. They got lost. I think I’ve got folder of downloaded pictures I’ve forgotten, too — many of them my own stuf.

    • Yes, Leslie. I’d also forgotten about these pics. Nice comparison with what we have today.

      • Our snow is gone and it’s going to be warmer today. I’ll send it down to you for a Thanksgiving gift.

        • It’s every so slightly (about 5 degree, F) warmer, but it’s cold and damp and all my joints are objecting. BUT we have on. It’s a 1 hour short of just the acts and the abbreviation is a big improvement.

  3. How many times the three of us have shot that bridge? Yours is the best Garry

    • I think we have thousands of pictures of that bridge in three seasons, excluding mid-winter when sometimes, you can’t get there because the paths are blocked by snow. It is a great bridge, though. It’s one of those “you can’t go wrong” pictures.

  5. One can get beautifully lost in that foliage.

    • Patricia, I do get lost as I look for images. My mind usually races to some old movie. I spot a young Jennifer Jones, “Jennie” running through the cover of trees to escape the passage of time.
