BIRD SONG IN MORNING – BRIGHT SQUARES

BIRD SONG IN MORNING – BRIGHT SQUARES

This being my second post to this title, check out part one “Always look on the bright side of life” because you can sing along. No sing along today, unless you are a bird. If you are a bird then you can sing along with the Carolina Wren, who has the loudest, most beautiful song of any bird I know, especially considering what a little bird the Carolina Wren is. The song of the wren can wake me from a deep sleep and is one that joyously announces that spring is on the way!

    • Are you having spring yet? Every time I think we’ve got it, the temperatures drop into the 20s and we wait some more. But I can see buds on the maples, so it has to be soon!

    • It’s hard to see these birds unless they are on a feeder. They hop around constantly and are just the perfect shade to blend seamlessly with trees and bark. But oh that song! It took me forever to find the bird because I heard them, but never SAW them. Then, one day, I saw the little bird singing on a branch, then I looked it up, heard the song. Now, these little guys live all year round here. They are supposed to be migrants, but apparently they like the food. I love their song, too 😀
