BRIGHT FLORAL DISPLAYS

The future’s bright

This has not been a great day. Lots of computer issues. As in I had to restore the computer and it didn’t work, so I had to unrestore the restoration and the problem I was trying to fixed isn’t fixed. Basically, it makes it impossible to process any of my photographs, which as you might guess, is making me unhappy. Really seriously unhappy. I processed these before I followed those dubious instructions and watched my whole system crash. I’ll get it sorted out, but in the meantime, I’m not a happy camper.

    • I got it sorted out, mainly by finding the old program online and downloading it — after which all the parts I couldn’t access anymore were right where they belonged. I don’t understand all these software companies creating software that doesn’t work like all their previous software worked and doesn’t integrate with the other parts of their program. WHY? I don’t get it.

  2. I am very familiar with these problems. So far this year, I have crashed my way through three computers, figuratively speaking of course, but have lost so much of my favourite material and images in the process, despite being 80% backed up on various clouds and USB’s.
Sad doesn’t begin to describe it, I know…
    But these sketches are amazing!

    • I really don’t understand why companies would produce a new version that doesn’t integrate with previous material and leaves you without any gateway to all the stuff you already bought for them. That not only doesn’t make sense, it’s also NOT FAIR. I paid for those filters and they weren’t cheap. They may not be supporting them, but I still use them and having bought them, I should be able to USE them. They are working on driving me nuts.

I bought new backup drives. I need to replace the really big one, now. It has gotten too slow.

  3. Sending huge huge hugs, hope it is sorted now. So very frustrating – thank goodness you got these gorgeous lilies in though

    • I got it sorted by finding a copy of the old program which was also the gateway to all the filters that I was using. Otherwise, I literally couldn’t USE any of the older filters. I’m baffled as to why they would make it impossible to access stuff I already purchased — and which don’t work as standalones. It really is a giant cabal!

I had fun with the lilies. Those were interesting to create, too.
