We grow a lot of Catalpa trees. They are supposed to be difficult to grow, but apparently they like us. Most of them are relatively small and young. A couple of the big ones have fallen in storms, so we have just one full-size tree left — and a lot of baby trees.
And just so you know, it is NOT raining tonight! This is so exciting.

ooh the original link didn’t work for some reason. I will try and remember to pop back in morning and edit
what a beautiful tree, and such lovely squares.

Those are beautiful trees! The flowers are gorgeous! Do they smell as good as they look?

Funny you should ask that because they are so high up in the tree, I have never had one close enough to my nose to find out if it has any scent at all.

It’s starting to rain now. We got one night. I guess that’s pretty much our limit these days. At least I don’t feel guilty using water from the well!
