PETUNIAS IN THE SUMMER HEAT

FOTD – August 14 – PETUNIAS

Even though it rains almost every day, I still spray fresh water on the flowers in the morning. The deck gets full direct sun for most of the day. When the weather is this hot, having some water on the stems and leaves helps prevent burning. Also, most plants absorb water from their leaves and stems as well as from in the soil so it gives them a little lift.
