This is not about IQ. It’s about color . Mostly about red, but also some green and orange — and a handsome black mast.
Cardinals often look like the original Angry Birds. They are the right color (Red!) and they always look a little annoyed. Just like Angry 😡 Birds!

Along with my summertime Goldfinch, these are the brightest birds we have. It’s really great when both of them share a feeder! Brilliantly bright 🙂
