BACKYARD GARDEN AMIDST WEEDS

FOTD – STONECROP AND HYDRANGEAS – SEPT 7, 2021

Although there are a billion weeds, the hydrangea are blooming with enthusiasm as are the stonecrop. It’s hard to get pictures of them amidst all the green weeds. But, with the help of a very long lens from the deck above the garden, I got a few.

  2. I’m always “amidst weeds” in our gardens! What would we pull if it weren’t for them? 😎🌺😎

    • We pull them out, but with all this rain and very warm weather, they grow back overnight. Literally, in one night. I’ve never seen growth this wild. But the flowers seem to have somehow survived, so maybe we’ll have a slightly more normal year next year. Sure do hope so!

  3. There is something quite soul releasing about a wild garden, and such gifts of colour!

    • Thanks 🙂 I couldn’t figure out any other way of taking pictures of them except from above because the weeds have more or less engulfed them, though we do pull them up every time we are nearby. The weeds don’t care.
