FOTD – September 26 – Fuchsia

The fuchsia Owen nursed through last winter is just now, at the very end of the season, beginning to really flower. I don’t know if he will nurse it through another year. We shall see. If I had somewhere to put it, I’d keep it. Meanwhile, some flowers and some buds from a pretty fuchsia that is still alive when it shouldn’t be.

  1. Your fuchsias collection remains stunning and admirable every winter. Something to look forward for. The buds are gorgeous and we will be able to see the blooms soon.

  2. Beautiful photos for today 😀

    • Thanks, Cee. It took the whole summer for this to really flower. It’s not covered with flowers, but it’s got at least half a dozen blooming and many more buds. I’m trying to figure out if there’s any way I can winter it one more year. I love fuchsias — possibly my favorite hanging plant 😀
